8 Easy Steps To Re-Upholster A Tub Chair

  1. Gather The Items Required: Start by gathering all the tools and the materials that the users require while accomplishing this task like home deck fabric, swivel casters, sewing machine, screwdriver, thread, pliers, scissors, staples, rotary cutter, staple gun, healing mat, heavy-duty zipper, cotton cording, and clear ruler.
  2. Unbind Screws: The users then need to unbind all the screws from the frame in order to detach the wooden legs from the frame of the chair and then detach all the screws by using the screwdriver and the pliers as well from the back-most bottom cover. The users need to detach the entire staples so as to detach the leather fabric from the chair frame accordingly.
  3. Pull: Then they need to pull all the leather fabric from the chair frame by keeping the big leather pieces intact. The users are advised to label down all the pieces of the leather and they need to start working with the largest leather piece. Then the users need to sew down the side panel over the top and the piping within them and they need to repeat the same procedure for the bottom piece as well.
  8. Sew The Panel: Then they need to sew up the panel of the zipper to the side panels of the chair end and then paint the entire surface of the wheels and then seal it down with the varnish before affixing the wheels to the chair frame.
