Cutting Foam Cushion

1. Lay: Simply lay the foam on the top of the bench and then make a line according to upper side of the bench.
2. Cut: Now with the help of the electric carving knife cut the foam.
3. Wrap: The next step is to wrap the batting around the foam and trim out the extra.

Cutting Out The Pieces

1. Lay Down The Fabric: The first step is to lay down the fabric in half fold way than simply place the cushions on top of it and make a line around it but mark the line 2 inches wider than the cushion. Now cut out the two layers that will be for top and bottom of the cover.
2. Sides: Now cut out the pieces for the sides such as 4 strips, cut according to the required length.

Assembling The Sides

1. Wrap: With the right side facing in wrap all the 4 strips of the cushions, now pin the edges where they meet cushions corner.
2. Remove: Now the step is to remove the sides and carefully stich where the pins are. For the back strips, fold over the excess until it matches the same height as the rest of the strips have, then secure it by stiching along the back strip’s folded over fabric.

Adding The Piping

1. Top Panel: Now the next step is to Lay the top panel to right side on top of the cushion. After that carefully Pin the piping on top of the fabric. Line up the piping in a way that it aligns with the edges of the cushion.
2. Corner: When the user reachs to a corner, that time snip into the raw edge of the piping all the way to the rope piping.
3. Set: Simply, Set the top panel of the sewing machine and sew the piping into the right place, the needle of the machine should be very close to the piping but it should not stitch the rope.

Connecting The Top And Sides

1. Top Side: The first step is to lay the top side of the panel on the cushion, then pick the sides and start piping them on the top of the cushion. The pins should be placed close to the piping but not top of it.
2. Sides: The next step is to stitch the sides, once the side stitching is completed then test the fit of the cushion by turning the right side out.

Adding The Back Flap

1. Back Fold: Pick up the back fold on the strip, from three sides fold the edges twice, press the hem on the back with the iron. Then to secure it start stitching along the fold.
2. Center: The next step is to pin the Center flap along the back edge of the bottom panel with right sides together.
3. Stitch: Now the next step is to stitch back flap next to piping on the bottom panel.
4. Wrong Side: Now turn the panel wrong side out and insert the cushion inside it. Pin the bottom panel on the sides.
5. Trim: Now this is the good time to trim the excess from the stitched seams.
6. Stitch: The next step is to stitch but along the two sides and front of the cover. Now simply turn the right side of the panel out and insert the cushion into it.
