How To Stretch Vinyl Fabric?

Step 1: Heat the Vinyl Fabric
1. Acquire The Way Of Stretching: There are two ways of stretching the vinal fabric either in a two-way or in the four-way. The two-way vinyl fabric expands only while heating from the left to the right side of the vinyl fabric. The two-way fabric is much more durable than the four-way vinyl fabric. The Four-way vinyl fabric expands from the vertical as well as from the horizontal way but the Four-way vinyl fabric is quite thinner than the two-way vinyl fabric.
2. Place The Fabric On A Flat Surface: The customers then need to start by laying the vinyl fabric towards its facedown side on a flat surface. The customers then need to turn the heat gun on and they need to set the heat gun on high temperature.
3. Use The Heat Gun: The customers then need to gently move the heat gun over the surface of the vinyl fabric in the Z shaped pattern but they are advised to hold their heat gun near about 8 inches above from the surface of the vinyl fabric. The customers need to heat the vinyl fabric for near about 4 minutes.
Step 2: Expand the Vinyl Fabric
1. Place The Heated Fabric: The customers need to gently place the heated vinyl fabric on the seat of the furnishing item. They then need to stretch the vinyl fabric and for that, the customers need to grasp the one end of the vinyl fabric by using their fingers and then they gently need to drag it towards themselves. If in case the customers are using the Two-way vinyl fabric then they need to exert a lot of force while dragging the fabric and if the customers are using the Four-way fabric then they need to gently drag the fabric in order to avoid the tearing of the vinyl fabric.
2. Press Down The Fabric: The customers then need to gently press their vinyl fabric downwards by using their fingers in order to remove the wrinkles from the vinyl fabric.
3. Use The Staple Gun: The customers then need to use the heat gun if the vinyl fabric stops expanding. The customers then need to use the staple gun in order to affix the vinyl fabric accordingly.
