How To Reupholster the Dining Room Chairs

Here are some of the steps by which the customers can easily re-upholster the Dining Room Chairs:

Step 1: Remove The Existing Chair Covers

1. Remove The Screws: The customers need to start by placing the chair to the upside-down area and then remove all the screws from the seat of the chair by using the screwdriver. The customers need to save all the screws and the bolt for further use.
2. Detach The Staples: The customers need to detach all the staples from the existing fabric on the chair seat by using the hammer.
3. Remove The Fabric As Well: Once the customers removed all the staples from the existing fabric the customers then need to pull off the fabric from the chair seat as well.

Step 2: Replace The Padding And The Dust Cover

1. Make A Dust Cover Piece: The customers then need to directly place the piece of the dust cover over the chair seat and then the customers need to trim the fabric as per the exact dimensions of the chair seat.
2. Attach The Dust Cover: The customers then need to affix the dust cover to the chair seat by using the staples
3. Make The foam Padding: The customers then need to place the chair seat directly over the surface of the foam padding and then the customers need to trace the dimensions of the chair seat to the foam by using the marker or the pen as well. The customers then need to trim the foam padding by using the utility knife.
4. Make The Seat Batting: The customers then need to place the foam padding over the surface of the batting and then the customers need to trace the dimensions of the foam padding on the batting by using the marker or the pen. The customers then need to trim the batting accordingly.
5. Affix The Foam Padding And Batting: The customers then need to place the foam padding and the batting on to the surface of the chair seat and then affix it together by using the staples. The customers then need to trim all the excess fabric by using the sharp-edged scissors.

Step 3: Cut The New Fabric

1. Place The New Fabric: The customers then need to lay the new fabric towards its right side facing downwards and then the customers need to place the chair seat over the new fabric. The customers also need to allow the 3 or 4 inches extra fabric on all the four sides. The customers then need to trim the fabric accordingly.
2. Attach The New Fabric: The customers then need to bend the fabric on all the edges of the chair and then staple it by using the staple gun respectively. The customers then need to trim the excess fabric from the chair seat by using the scissors.
3. Affix The Dust Cover: The customers then need to affix the trimmed dust cover piece to the chair seat by using the staple gun respectively.
4. Re-attach The Chair Seat: The customers then need to re-attach the chair to the base of the chair frame by using the saved nuts and the screws accordingly.
