The thin layer of wood called veneer is applied to the surface of the wood tables and doors with the help of glue. Veneer table looks good but they can get old and damaged over a short period of time. Sometimes the blisters damage the veneer wood table. There are a number of ways to repair and refinish the wood veneer table easily and some of them are described below, So follow the given steps to repair the veneer table:
  1. Blisters: Check out for the blisters. Usually, heat is the main cause of blisters and if it is not controlled then it will damage the veneer table top.
  2. Sand: Use the medium grit (80- to 120) of sandpaper to start the work. Sanding deeply will damage the veneer table, so avoid deep sanding.
  3. Clean: After sanding, clean the dust with help of vacuum cleaner. The vacuum cleaner will clean all the dust within a few minutes.
  4. Safety First: Safety is must so the user should use safety gloves like chemical resistant gloves before starting the staining process.
  5. Stain: Use water-based stains on a veneer tabletop with the help of a thin paintbrush or with a roller. It will help to protect the veneer.
  6. Dry: Let the wood veneer table top dry for 12-15 hours directly in fan air. Don't leave the wood veneer directly in the sun light because it will damage the veneer because of heat.
