A wood table is an item of wood furniture with a flat top with 1 or more legs underneath the table. Your wood table can easily be damaged or stained, in order to refinish or remove old finish and old polish from your wooden table, then you need some items and to follow the given steps to remove pledge from your wood table. Items Needed

  • Cornstarch
  • A Cloth
  • A Broom Or Vacuum
  • White Vinegar
  • Water
  • Dish Liquid
  • Black Tea Bags

Steps

  1. Sprinkle: First sprinkle some cornstarch over the affected area and leave it for at least 10 minutes for absorbing the polish, use a broom or vacuum cleaner in order to wipe the powder from your wood table.
  2. Combine: Combine same amount of vinegar and water, mix it well and then wipe the affected area with this mixture, applying this mixture and leave it for few minutes and wipe it with a dry clean cloth to remove any excess mixture from the surface of your wood table.
  3. Washing: Combine a little amount of dish liquid in water to make suds, wipe this mixture on the affected area, repeat the washing process nearly 2-3 times until the old polish is gone from your wood table.
  4. Water And Tea Mixture: Take a quart part of hot water and Lipton tea bag mix them and let the tea cool, take a damp cloth and dip it in the tea mixture and rub it on the affected area and then wipe the area with a dry cloth to clean any excess liquid from your wood table.
