Best Methods To Clean Paint From Floor

Various methods can be used in order to remove or clean paint from floor and some of the methods are mentioned below:

Soap Solution On The Water-based Paint

The user can easily check whether the paint is water based by reading the label on the can, or online.
  1. Dish Soap: Apply the few drops of dish soap on the paper towel and then rub the stained area. Continue the rubbing process for a few minutes.
  2. Wipe: Now with the help of the dry rag wipe the affected area. The stained area should be wet from
    the soap solution due to which it will leave easily.
  3. Scrape: Now use the dull knife or the edge of a credit card to scrape the additional or remaining paint.

Paint Remover

  1. Apply: With the help of the cotton ball or swab apply the paint remover directly to the affected area. Apply carefully without saturating the unstained area.
  2. Soak: Let remover to soak on the paint for about 15 minutes, so that it will break down the paint.
  3. Wipe: In order to clean up the paint and remover wipe the area with the rag or paper towel. In case the area is greasy or slippery then apply the solution of the mild detergent with the water to clean the slip hazards.

Denatured Alcohol

The other method to remove the paint from the floor is to use the Denatured Alcohol.
  1. Blot: Apply the denatured alcohol on the rag and then blot the area.
  2. Soak: Leave the denatured alcohol on the stain for several minutes, so that it will break the paint which then will be easy to remove.
  3. Scrub Brush: Now the next step is to scrub the stained area with the scrub brush, scrub in the back and forth motion. Then wipe off the excess with the paper towel.
