Steps
- Use The Screwdriver To Turn The Screws: Start by matching up the screwdriver with the hinge screw head that is holding the door with the cabinet. Then align up and hold up the tip of the screwdriver at the screw center and then tap the handle of the screwdriver continuously with the hammer so as to detach the old paint from the head of the screw. The users are also advised to turn the screw in the counterclockwise direction so as to detach it from the inner cabinet surface accordingly.
- Use The Utility Knife: The users can also scrape the utility knife blade all around the surface of the screw and keep on scraping till the hollow portion of the screw head is free from the paint layer. Then they need to turn the screw in the counterclockwise direction again so as to detach it from the inner cabinet by using the screwdriver.
- Use The Chemical Stripper: The users can also apply the chemical stripper over the head screw portion by using the small brush and then allow the chemical stripper to sit over the head of the screw till the paint bubbles get away from the surface of the metal and then use the clean rag so as to clean up the paint accordingly. The users are advised to keep on applying the chemical stripper over the screws till there is no paint leftover the central portion of the head of the screws.
