- Understanding The Basics: There is a clear position of the small clearance in between the carcass of the cabinet and the side drawer box and the users are required to use the under-affixed soft-close glide. The users need to affix it to the base and the lower sides of the drawer boxes, However, there are some of the glide models that are only installed at the base of the drawer box. Some of the glides are used for a specific purpose that is raising the drawer bottom and that is why it is important to assemble the glide in a proper way.
- Fixing Down The Bracket: The users need to pick-up the glide of the drawer in the upside-down direction and then they need to twist the drawer over the surface of the worktable if it is possible for them. The ideal position is that the face of the drawer should be opposite to the body of the users. The users then need to concentrate over the left front affixed bracket of the slides of the drawer. Then they need to lay it flat over the base of the drawer and it needs to be placed at the top-left edge accordingly and it is also required to be adjacent to the front-most left side of the drawer box. Then the users need to link up the affixed bracket and link up it to the front side of the drawer box by using the screws with their brackets. Then they need to use the electric drill to fix up the screws together. Then with the right side affixing bracket, the users need to repeat the same procedure as mentioned above.
- Calculating And Marking: The users then need to use the measuring tape to determine the width of the drawer glide. They need to locate the lower-most edge of the box drawer and then place the tip of the tape over it. Then on the backside of the box drawer, the users will find out the top corner that they need to calculate and mark it by using the pencil. Then by following the corner, the users need to extend the pencil mark and allow it to go beyond the back end side of the box drawer. Then they need to start from the corner of the box drawer and calculate its distance from its top to bottom. On both sides, the users need to pen down the actual measurements and the left corner of the drawer back is the place where the users need to affix the square. Then the users need to draw the adjacent line from the base back corner of the box drawer and keep on drawing the line until it meets with the previous line. Then the users need to use the jigsaw while trimming down the notches that are made when both lines are perpendicular.
- Drilling The Holes: The users need to affix the left glide in between the front-most side of the bracket and the notch that is in the backside of the drawer. Then they need to mark down the small pinhole at the drawer back and that is the point they need to drill.
- Placing The Bracket: The users need to make sure that the base corner of the bracket is aligned with the marked area. Then they need to affix the back of the bracket with the carcase backside by using the screws and while with the right side they need to repeat the procedure.
- Inserting The Glides: The users then need to line up the glide with the carcass and over the mounting bracket tab the users need to push the back of the glide and with the open drawer side frame they need to affix the glided front-most left edge and this procedure is for the drawer glide of the left side and for the right side they need to follow the same pattern.
- Clicking Both The Glides: Then from the surface of the carcass the users need to extend down the slides of both drawers and it is mandatory that the drawers need to be settled perfectly with the slides and they hold up the drawer by firmly placing the left hand below the same side and then they need to gently push forward that part so as to allow it get fitted with the mounting bracket. The users then need to look below the back corner area and find out that the pins are sliding into the hole that is situated at the back of the box drawer. In order to settle down the drawer right side, the users need to follow the same method. Then, at last, allow the slide of the drawer out and in position so as to check the carcase and to check whether the slide of the drawer is functioning well.
