Upholstering the seat cushion in a square or rectangular shapes is a fairly easy and straight forward process, but when it comes time to secure the corners that make it a little bit hectic process. The corners can be tackled in a number of ways that depends upon the thickness of the material being used. Some of the techniques are mentioned below:
Corner Control
- Fold: The first step of the corner control technique is to carefully fold one side of the upholstery over the bottom or the respective back edge.
- Staple: After that staple the area completely but aside from the corner, stop nearly about 2 inches away from each corner.
- Opposite Side: Now the step is to fold the opposite side and staple in the same way mentioned above.

Gift-Wrap Corners technique
