What Are The Steps to Stitch the Pillow Case with Inner Flap?

Here are some of the steps by which the customers can easily Stitch the Pillow Case with Inner Flap:
1. Materials Required: The customers need to start by collecting all the tools and the materials they require while performing this procedure like:
  • Measuring Tape.
  • Sewing machine.
  • Pins.
  • Scissors.
  • Matching Thread.
  • Ironing board and Iron.
  • Main Colour Cotton Fabric.
  • Contrast colour cotton fabric.
  • Optional Fabric.

2. Cut The Fabric: The customers need to fold the main coloured cotton fabric and then place the hot iron over the folded fabric. They then need to cut the folded fabric in two pieces by using the sharp-edged scissor. Similarly, they need to fold the contrast coloured cotton fabric and trim it in two pieces accordingly.
3. Lay The Fabric: The customers then need to lay the two trimmed pieces of the main coloured cotton fabric and then turn to one end near about 1cm of the main coloured fabric. The customers then need to place the hot iron over the folded end fabric in order to turn the fabric again to form the 3cm fold.
4. Stitch The Fold: The customers then need to stitch the 3cm fabric fold by using the sewing machine in order to create the seam accordingly.
5. Bend The Stitched End: The customers then need to fold the sewn end of the fabric by near about 19-20cm and then they need to place the hot iron over the folded end. The Folded end will be used as the pillowcase flap and then the customers need to pin it in flat.
6. Take The Contrast Coloured Cotton Fabric: The customers then need to take the trimmed piece of the contrast coloured cotton fabric and then they need to iron the fabric in flat. The customers then need to fold the ironed fabric in half and after this, the size dimension of the fabric should be 57cm wide and 17cm long.
7. Place The Contrast Fabric: The customers then need to lay the contrast coloured cotton fabric on a flat surface and then place the optional fabric over the top of the contrast coloured fabric.
8. Place The Edges Of Fabric: The customers then need to lay the flap end of the main coloured fabric over the contrast colour fabric but they need to make sure that the main coloured fabric should take little space than the contrast coloured fabric. The customers then need to Lie down the fabric to its down right side and then they need to pin the fabric in order to grip together all the fabric pieces accordingly.
9. Place The Other Ends: The customers then need to place the other end of the contrast fabric and then place it at top of the rolled fabric. The customers then need to lay the right side contrast fabric to the pinned side of the main coloured fabric. They then need to affix both the edges of the fabric by using the pins and also by removing the pins on the main fabric. The customers then need to Stitch this seam respectively.
10. Turn The Pillowcase: The customers then need to turn the stitched pillowcase so that the front sides come inside and the inside fabric comes to the outside. The customers finally need to stitch all the seams again and then they need to turn again the pillowcase.
