- Mineral Spirits: The solvent like the mineral spirit is very useful to break the barrier of the wax. Follow the process with several applications of Acetone applied to the pads to scrub the surface.
- White Vinegar And Water: The other method is to use the solution of equal parts of white vinegar and water, then wipe the surface with the clean lint-free cotton, that will clean and remove the build-up wax. Wiper in the directions of the wood grain, replace the cloth while wiping the surface the wax gets transferred to the cloth, After that dry the surface with a clean cloth.
- White Vinegar & Tartar: The other method to remove the wax is to use the solution of 1 cup of white vinegar and 1 tablespoon of cream of tartar that is a natural abrasive cleaner. Simply dampen a soft cloth in the solution and then gently wipe the surface in the directions of the wood grains, then rinse the surface with the soft cloth dampened in the clean water.
