Steps To Get Rid Of Sticky Tape Residue From Laminate Flooring

Laminate floors become sticky when the floor is not cleaned properly, so the users can follow the below-given steps to remove the sticky tape residue from the laminate flooring:
  1. Gather All Tools And Materials: The users need to collect all the materials and tools like a bucket, mop, white vinegar, broom or vacuum cleaner to clean the stickiness from the laminate flooring.
  2. Sweep The Floor: To remove the dirt and grime particles from the laminate floors the users can clean the floor surface by using a broom or the users can use the vacuum cleaner which is having a brush attachment.
  3. Prepare A Cleaning Solution: Then the users need to prepare a cleaning solution in a bucket. The cleaning solution is prepared by combining the white vinegar and warm water.
  4. Dip A Mop Into Bucket: Now the users can put the mop into the solution and twist the mop to remove the liquid solution from the mop as much as possible to prevent the laminate floor from being oversaturated.
  5. Mop the floor: The users can clean the sticky floor by wiping the mop on the sticky area of the laminate floor and wipe the floor with a mop until all the stickiness removes away from the floor.
  6. Let The Floor Air Dry: Last step is to leave the floor to air dry. Move the hands on the floor surface to check whether all the stickiness removes from the floor and if there exists any residue then repeat the same process.
