Part I- Making The Plan
- Step 1: The users need to start by deciding those furniture items that they want to take with themselves as moving any furniture item can be very difficult especially when the users are having a large number of the furniture pieces. If it is possible for the users then they need to dismantle those furniture items that won't go through the doorways or the staircase. The users also need to think about the fragile furnishing items or any other precious things that can get moved easily in pieces.
- Step 2: Then the users need to click the picture of those furniture items that they want to dismantle as those pictures will act as the guide when the users will assemble those furniture items again.

Part II- Dismantling The Large Furnishing Items
- Step 1: The users need to start by removing all the cushions and then part the sofa away by removing its frame. Remove the cushions and then turn the sofa towards its back and then unfasten its legs by using the screwdriver and detach the staples by using the pliers so as to make the sofa move separately in pieces.
- Step 2: Then users need to detach the back seat, the wheels in order to break down the desk chair. These chairs can be disassembled easily by turning the knob at the seat base towards its left side till it will get loosen to get detached easily. Then they need to detach the seat from the chair base and also push down the seat lever that lowers it and lower it down till the seat base gets small enough to be moved easily.
- Step 3: Then the users need to unfasten the legs of the table in order to dismantle the table. For the small table, they need to place the small tables over the surface of the workbench so as to check the underneath area and for the large tables, the users need to check the underneath area and locate the hardware that is joining the legs and then use the screwdriver to unfasten all the screws and bolts to detach each one of the table legs.
- Step 4: Then the users need to detach the footboard and the headboard while disassembling the bed and detach the mattress and the box spring as well. The users are advised to use the screwdriver while detaching the foot and the headboard from the bed frame accordingly.
- Step 5: The users then need to detach all the knobs and other detachable items from the dresser. To detach the knobs they need to twist them towards the leftmost side until they won't get loosen. If the users are having the kitchen cart they need to detach all the handles and the wheels from it respectively.
Part III: Wrapping The Furniture
- Step 1: Then they need to cover up their furnishing items by using the blanks or the furniture pads. They need to start wrapping at one end and keep on wrapping until the users cover the entire furniture item.
- Step 2: Then they need to cover the legs of the table and the chair with the furniture pads or the blankets as well. If the users were not successful in detaching the legs then they need to wrap the wrapping material carefully around the legs.
- Step 3: Once they wrapped their furnishing items with the blankets or the furniture pads then they need to wrap the plastic material over it so as to keep the furnishing items safe from all the scratches and the dust as well.
- Step 4: Then the users need to place the cardboard pieces at the desk and dresser edges and also over the top of the glass tables. Then secure the cardboard pieces by using the packing tape accordingly.
- Step 5: The users are advised to wrap up all the fragile furnishing items with the bubble wrap. The users can also wrap it over the plastic cover so as to offer more protection to the furnishing items and then generally secure the bubble wrap by using the securing tape respectively.
- Step 6: The users are advised to wrap up all the frames or the dressing mirrors in between the mattresses of the bed or in between the soft items.
