It is also very important to carefully navigate through the narrow doorways as well as in the hallways. Some times it may require to remove doors from the hinges and other household items that will come along the path.
  6. Load: Now its time to load the couch onto the moving equipment, place it either horizontally or on its end. It is advisable to not place the items on the couch during transit because it can rely upon damage to the cushions and springs as well.
  7. Ratchet Straps Or Ropes: In order to secure the furniture in place use the ratchet straps or ropes.

  1. The users are advised to never use a plastic wrap directly on the leather couch because it can cause it to sweat, which may ruin the finish of the couch. Instead the user can use the clean paper padding or moving blankets.
  2. Label each item with its corresponding place so it will find out the items. It is important to mark it on multiple sides so it is easy to locate it no matter how it’s picked up during the unloading process.
  3. Before taking the furniture apart, it is advisable to take a picture of how it’s set up. The pictures will be very helpful while putting everything back together faster.
