Steps

  1. Determine The Location Of The Noise: The drying of wood is the main reason for the shirk of wood boards and cause small gaps between the boards of the hardwood floor.   3. Apply Baby Powder: Start apply a medium amount of baby powder between the boards of the hardwood floor causing the squeaks. Force baby powder into the seams of the hardwood floor by using a paper towel and push the baby powder with a finger.
  4. Plastic Card: Use thin plastic card to force the baby powder into the entry point until the squeaky noise has gone from the hardwood floor. Clean the remaining baby powder with a cloth or paper towel.
