Two Easy Ways And Items Required To Clean The Marble Floor

The marble is very soft and the permeable stone that requires the proper cleaning due to the fact that the marbles are often used in home areas like the kitchen or the bathroom areas that got most of the traffic and that is why they need special care. Way I- Mopping The Marble Floor

  • Use The Hot Water: Start by using the hot water whether the users are making the cleaning solution to clean up the marble floor or they are only using the water and that is why they are advised mainly to use the hot water. The hot water easily slices up the grime that is stuck over the marble floors and it also reduces the chance of damaging the marble floor.
  • Use The Distilled Water: Then the users need to focus on using the mineral water as the mineral water is used to get rid of the impurities or the other minerals. If the users use the distilled water they will easily lessen the chance of stains over the surface of the marble. The users can easily purchase the distilled water at their nearby home store and it is affordable to anyone.
  • Add The Mild Cleaner: Then they need to add the mild cleaner to the water and to do so they require to add three drops of the liquid cleaner to the bucket containing the hot or distilled water. Then they need to continuously stir the solution so as to mix all the ingredients and the users are advised to use the pH soap only. The harsh chemicals like the vinegar, ammonia or the bleach can easily damage the marble floor.
  • Use The Soft Mop: Then they need to use the soft mop for their marble floor and to do so they need to soak the mop in the solution and then squeeze out all water and then rub it over the entire surface of the marble floor. The users are advised to rub the mop in the small strokes that can easily overlap.
  • Mop With The Clean Water: Then the users need to mop up the marble again but this time with the clean water. Once the users have moped the marble with the soap solution then they need to mop the floor with the clean water. Mopping the floor with the clean water will clean up all the dust and the debris particles from the surface of the marble.
  • Dry The Floor: Finally the users are advised to frequently change their water so that the floor won't get scratches or get streaky. Then they need to use the soft cloth so as to dry the marble floor as the marble is having the porous nature and that is why the users need to dry up the floor as fastly as they can and if they failed to dry the floor then the marble can easily absorb the water and it will result in the discoloration of the marble.

Way II- Cleaning Up The Stains

  • Clean The Floor: Start by cleaning up all the dust and the debris particles from the marble floor by using the soft broom.
  • Mix The Solution: Then the users need to mix up the 3 spoons of the baking soda and the liquid soap in the warm water. Then they need to stir the solution continuously so that all the ingredients are mixed properly. After that soak the soft cloth in this solution or the users can also soak the soft brush and then rub it all over the surface of the marble floor.
  • Make The Paste: Then they need to make a paste of the chalk or the talc with the water and they need to stir it constantly so as to make the fine paste and then apply this paste over the stained area over the surface of the marble floor.
  • Cover The Area With Plastic Wrap: Then they need to cover up the stained area by using the plastic wrap and then tape down the other areas of the floor by using the masking tape. Then allow the paste to get dried off completely for almost 2 days.
  • Apply The Sealant: Finally the users need to detach the plastic wrap and then wipe down the stained area by using the sponge or the damp cloth. Then they need to apply the sealant over the entire surface of the marble floor.
