The chalky look of your plastic furniture is mostly caused due to the fact that it is affected by oxidation. Oxidation ordinarily occurs on your outdoor furniture such as resin plastic chairs or tables caused by prolonged exposure to the direct sunlight. This will happen to almost any type of material that is left in the direct sunlight for long periods of time including fiberglass, aluminum, even car paint. Oxidation will dry out the top layer of your plastic chairs or other types of material and cause it to become hazy & dull.   • This is your first step simply, fill a bucket with water(warm) and then add some mild detergent into the water bucket and then mix it well until it begins to soapsuds up.
