Methods To Treat Leather Furniture That Is Scratched

There are a number of Ways/Methods through which the scratches on the leather furniture can be removed. Some of the methods are mentioned below:

Soft Cloth: The first step in the buffing process is to take a soft cloth and pour a small amount of the leather oil or conditioner on the affected area then start buffing in the circular motion.
Buffing: Continue the buffing until the scratch is removed. The reason for using the oil in the buffing is to combine some of the colors from the surrounding in the affected area.
Wait: Then wait for about 10 minutes, so that the oil will soak in the affected area and condition it, after that buff away the excess oil with the help of the dry cloth.

If the buffing doesn't work then go for recoloring product process.

Step 1: Buy a same color balm or colorant as the color of the furniture.
Step 2: First of all, Rub with the cloth away the area as much as posible, then test the colorant for any negative affect.
Step 3: If there is no negative affect then apply the colorant or balm to the scratch, according to the manufacturer insturctions as different manyfacturer has different instructions.
Step 4: The user can also use the felt-tip pen which hides small scratches, and there are many colors to choose from.
