- Firstly use a soap solution made up of dish wash mixed with lukewarm water on the stain and clean it with a soft dry cloth. If the stain after cleaning with a soap solution that is minor then mark it with a wood stain pen and allow it to dry in open air.
- If the stain you examined is major then use sandpaper and rub it in a circular motion over the stain on that furniture item .
- Use a clean damp cloth to remove all the dust over the surface of the item and apply a thin layer of water based paint with a paintbrush and allow it to dry for a couple of hours.
- Once your furniture item is completely dried apply a thin layer of clear lacquer and allow it to dry for about 24 hours.
