Removing Adhesive/Glue With Hot Water And Towels

  1. Material Required: The customers need to gather all the material like pot, water, towels, scraper, and stove to remove the glue from the wood floor.
  2. Boil Water And Soak Towels: The customers need to pour the water in a pot and place the pot on the stove and boil the water. Then customers need to soak the towel carefully into the boiled water.
  3. Place The Wet Towel On Floor: After soaking the towel in boiled water the customers then need to place the soaked towel on the wood floor surface. Due to the heat, the hardened glue loosens.
  4. Leave Towels In Place: Keep the soaked towel on the wood floor surface for about 5 minutes and then clean the floor surface with the towel to remove the glue.
  5. Scrape The Floor: Take a floor scraper and without damaging and scratching scrape the remaining glue from the wood floor.

  3. Wipe The Area: The customers need to clean the melted glue from the floor surface and this can be done by wiping the wood floor with the help of a dry towel.
  4. Use A Scraper: The customers can use the floor scraper for removing the leftover glue from the wood floor without scratching the floor surface.

Removing Adhesive/Glue With Dry Ice

  1. Gather Supplies: Firstly the customers need to collect all the materials that are required for removing the glue from the wood floor like protective eyewear, gloves, tray, and dry ice.
  2. Put On Your Gloves: Then the customers need to protect themselves by wearing eyewear and gloves and handle the ice blocks easily.
  3. Place Ice On Tray: Now the customers need to place the dry block of ice in a large tray so as to cover the glued area of the wood floor.
  4. Place Tray On Glue: The customers need to put the tray which holds the ice block on the glued area and wait for about 60 seconds. After waiting for a specified amount of time the customer can find that the glue on the wood floor cracks.
  5. Remove The Tray: Finally, the customers need to remove the tray from the wood floor and remove the cracked glue from the floor by using a scraper.
