Steps
After collecting all the required items, now you need to follow all the given steps to hang wall cabinets:
- First of all, you need to select the location on your wall where you want to hang your wall cabinet. Now you need to make a mark on your wall to indicate the bottom of your cabinet and then measure from your floor to the mark. Cut two drops at the height with the help of a handsaw. Alternatively, if your cabinet is going to be installed above your countertop then you need to measure from the countertop to the mark.
- After making the mark, you need to run a stud finder along your wall. Locate all the studs behind your cabinet. Mark all the stud locations on your wall.
- Next, open all the doors of your cabinet. You can also seek help from someone to lift it up in order to place it on your wall before making the props Stand under it.
- After following all the previous steps, now you need to place a three-inch screw in the tip of your cordless drill machine. Ask someone to hold your cabinet tightly against your wall. Drive all the screws into the studs, through with the back rail at the top of your wall cabinet by using the stud marks as a guide.
- This is your final step, follow the line of your stud downward diagonally and then drive 1 screw 3/4 inch from the bottom of your cabinet, through with the back, into each one of the studs.
