Steps & Items Needed To Fix Sagging Dining Chair

The dining chair is placed in front of the dining table which are moslty present in the kitchen or in the dining room areas of the home. However, after a short period of time the dining chair starts sagging, so in order to avoid dining chairs to be sagged, the user needs to follow the steps given below. Just follow the given steps carefully:

Items Required

  • Upholstery Staple Remover Tool.
  • Wood Glue.
  • Needle Nose Pliers.
  • 5 mm Underlayment.
  • New Fabric.

Steps

  1. Miraculous Little Tool: To start fixing process of sagging dining chair, the user needs to unscrew the seat of the chair first. Use miraculous little tool to remove the staples from the seat of the chair.
  2. Needle Nose Pliers: Needle nose pliers is useful to remove out the fabric from the seat of the dining chair.
  3. Cut: Take the size of the seat by using a measuring tape and cut the underlayment or plywood according to the size that the user has measured.
  4. Wood Glue: The user needs to apply wood glue around the edges and corners of the plywood or underlayment piece and let the piece dry for nearly 6-7 hours.
  5. Fix Foam: After applying the wood glue on the piece of plywood, now fix foam on it then staple the corners of the foam with electric staple gun.
  6. Cut Fabric: Choose the fabric from different types of pattern & designs. Now cut the fabric according to the seat of the dining chair and fix it on the seat of the dining chair and cut extra fabric.
  7. Staple: Finally the user needs to Staple the fabric with manual stapler and reattach the seat on the chair of the dining table.
