Here are the steps to acclimate your laminate flooring:
  • In order to acclimate your laminate flooring, the temperature should be betwixt 64(17.7778 c) & 86 (30c).
  • The temperature of your floor should be 59 degrees not more then this.
  • The humidity level of your working area should be betwixt 25 & 70%, you need to use a hygrometer to determine the relative humidity in your room.
  • If you are installing the laminate flooring on a slab, then the concrete should be cured for at least 60 days & to a vapor-flow rate of 3 lbs per 24 hours per 1,000 sq ft.
  • Your newly painted walls and your woodwork should be cured for at least 3 days.
  • If the floor has radiat heat (built in), then it should be turned on at 80 degree(176) for 3 days prior to installation.
