  1. Lighting Layout: The first step is to set the lights, wires as well as power hub on the countertop to check the lighting layout design. Its important to make sure that the cables will reach the outlet with the lights placed towards the front face of the cabinet. It is advisable to keep the puck lights about 8-12 inches apart.
  2. Mounting Cap: After the above step is done then the user needs to twist the mounting cap off from the light and then hold it in right place on the underside of the cabinet. Now with the help of a pencil, mark the mounting holes.
  3. Drill: Using a drill start drilling the shallow starter holes and then reposition the mounting cap but aligning to the drilled holes. Now the user needs to secure the mounting cap with screws. The user should not drill through the cabinet. The best and the easy way to avoid deep drilling is to simply measure the thickness of the bottom cabinet and then make a stop point on the drill bit using a piece of painter’s tape.
  4. Recessed Puck Lights: Incase of the recessed puck lights use a hole saw to drill a hole through cabinetry. A hole saw is a circular attachment that is designed to cut out the circular holes easily and quickly. Pass the wiring through the hole and then secure the mounting cap in hole using the screws.
  5. Attach: Now to the each mounting cap attach the lights using a twist-and-lock motion.
  6. Power Control: Now its time to fix the power control with the help of screws beneath the upper cabinet. Once installation is complete it is the unit that will be pluged into the power outlet.
  7. Secure The Power Hub: Once the above step is done then the user needs to fix the power hub under the cabinet. Carefully route the wires to the power hub and simply plug them in. If the user wants the wire not to be seen than drill small holes in the cabinets to run the wires.
