The Furniture Academy at the CVCC composes students for the high insistence jobs in the furniture industry. At this academy, the students are trained by the local furniture manufacturers. This academy offers a series of classes that include, Automated Cutting, Sewing techniques, Pattern Making, Spring Up, Manual Cutting, and the Furniture Fundamentals. This academy is training the students to explore their determined carrier paths and they will get the quality instructions from experienced craftsman. The furniture academy at CVCC was started in the year 2014 and after that, they opened another furniture academy namely Alexander Furniture Academy that started in the year 2016. The academy is also providing scholarship opportunities for the students.
