After that, the user needs to let the primer dry before sanding it a little to smoothen the surface. The sanding dust needs to be wiped down with a tack cloth. The user can also skip the step if the selected paint contains primer inside it.
- Apply Paint:
The last step will be to spray two coats of paint all over the wooden chairs. First, the user needs to flip the chairs upside down and start painting the bottom side by holding the spray can at least 6-8 inches away from the surface. The user needs to spray paint all over the wooden chairs by using sweeping motions and the user needs to repeat the step to the top side of the chairs as well. Once the first coat of spray paint dries as per the label instructions, the user needs to spray the second coat of paint similar to the first coat and let it dry overnight before putting the chairs back to use.
