- Leather Preparation Kit.
- Leather Dye Kit
- Small Paintbrush.
- Leather Dye Applicator Sponge.
- Vinyl Gloves.
Steps
- Match Leather Dye: This is the first step for the color restoration process, match the dye according to the previous color of the leather furniture.
- Prepare The Area: Well-ventilated area should be used in order to avoid self damage and wear safety equipment like vinyl gloves and eye goggles.
- Clean: Clean the leather furniture with leather preparation product. Apply prep product on a soft sponge before rubbing it in a circular motion. Clean the whole furniture carefully to apply leather dye on it.
- Dry: After the cleaning process, let dry the furniture for nearly 15-20 minutes.
- Paint: Use soft paint brush and leather dye to paint the piping and seams of the leather furniture.
- Leather Dye: Take foam applicator sponge and apply leather dye on it then wipe the whole leather furniture with it. Start wiping from end to bottom and avoid adding too much dye, apply a light layer of dye on the leather.
- Coat: After few minutes again apply 5-6 layers of dye and let the leather furniture dry for up to 48 hours.
