Ways To Remove White Marks From Laminate
The white marks on the laminate usually occur due to the build-up of cleaning products or due to water spots. There are several ways by which the user can remove white marks from laminate and some of the ways are mentioned below:
- Use Baking Soda Paste:
The white marks from laminate can be removed with a baking soda paste. First, the user needs to prepare a paste by mixing 2 tablespoons of baking soda with an appropriate amount of warm water to create a paste. After that, the user needs to scrub the paste on to the white marks with a clean cloth. It has been recommended to scrub the laminate until the white marks get removed. After that, the user needs to wipe down the laminate with a clean cloth dampened with water and follow it up with another wipe down with a clean dry cloth.
- Use White Vinegar Solution:
The white marks from the laminate can also be removed with a solution containing white vinegar, rubbing alcohol, and warm water. First, the user needs to prepare a solution by mixing rubbing alcohol, white vinegar, and warm water in equal parts in a bowl. After that, the user needs to dampen a clean cloth into the solution and scrub all white marks with it. The user needs to scrub until the white marks are off the laminate and then dry the laminate by using a clean dry cloth. The vinegar solution is used to clean the white marks caused by commercial cleaners.
- Use Silicon Spray:
Silicon spray lubricant can be used to clean white marks on laminate as well. First, the user needs to spray a small amount of silicon on to the paper towel and scrub the white marks with it until they are removed. Then, the user needs to remove the traces of silicon with a clean cloth dampened in a solution containing equal parts of warm water and white vinegar. At last, the user needs to dry the laminate with a clean dry cloth.
