Steps To Refinish Bamboo Hardwood Floors

  1. Remove Existing Finish: The first step is to take off the existing finish. Move Clark edger diagonally on the floor surface and use 36-grit sandpaper to remove the existing finish from the floor surface. Then use 36-grit sandpaper in a straight direction to sand the floor surface.
  2. Smooth The Edges: Take 80 grit sandpaper and move it in the straight direction on the floor surface. Use a scraper to make the edges smooth.
  3. Apply Finish: After completely smoothing the floor surface the customer can apply finish on the floor like oil based polyurethane.
  4. Allow It To Dry: Then wait until the floor dries completely.
