Take a sponge and dip in the solution, the user needs to wring it out so that it remains damp not overly wet, and wipe down the cabinet. To remove any residue wipe down the cabinet with a clean dry cloth.
  2. Doors And Hardware: Now the second step is to remove all the doors and hardware, its important to remove all the handles, doors, pulls, etc. Then keep them in a separate bag, so that it will be easy to track them.
  3. Sanding: Start sanding process to remove the existing paint, use the high grit sandpaper to sand the outside of the doors, panels as well as the baseboard. Here the user needs to remember one thing that it's not important to remove all the trace of paint, just make the surface coarse enough so that the primer can adhere to it better. Try to sand in a circular motion. It's advisable to put on the gloves and eye protection while sanding.
  4. Apply Primer: Apply the basic coat of the primer with the help of the brush, apply the thin and even coat of the primer. The primer will help the paint to adhere to the surface strongly. Let the primer dry completely then lightly sand down the surface again as this will help to make the area more uniform.
  5. Painter’s Tape: Now mask the underside and outside of the cabinet with the masking tape, also apply the tape to the area where the cabinet meets the wall.
  6. Mix The Paint: Before applying the paint it's important to mix them well so that any air bubbles or clumps will be removed, stir the paint with the stick, the better the paint is mixed the better it gives the coverage.
  7. Apply The Base Coat: In the base coat try to cover all Paint cracks, crevices and other space that is hard to reach, apply the coat using a brush. After completing the base coat move onto flat and broad surfaces by using a dense foam roller. Let the first coat to dry for a couple of hours before moving to another coat.
  8. Additional Coat: Its advisable to apply the second coat for the seamless finish, in the second coat use a steady hand and a consistent brushing pattern. But here the user needs to watch out for drips, as dips can permanently settle into the complete finish once it becomes dry. Allow the paint to dry completely for about 24 to 48 hours.
  9. Reassemble The Hardware: Once the paint job is done then reassemble all the hardware.
