Mango Wood is a type of wood that is derived from a mango tree that is originated in India and can be found in the South Pacific Islands, Australia, and Southeast Asia. The wood is considered as hardwood but can be cut and shape easily that makes it suited for the construction work.   1. Fungus Issues: Mango wood can get affected with fungus and insects due to which the wood is chemically treated and kiln dried before used for constructions purpose.
  2. Maintenance: Mango wood doesn't require much maintenance but during dry weather cracks can form over it if left dehydrated. If the wood is exposed to heat sources or sun, it has been recommended to moisturize it once every month or when the wood seems dry.
