Steps To Repair/Fix The Lazy Boy Recliner Footrest
Reclining chairs are best suitable for resting and relaxing purpose. If the footrest of the recliner chair damages and not works well then frustration is caused, so it is important to repair the footrest of the recliner. The material required for repairing the footrest of the recliner includes a screwdriver, disposable cloth, lubricant oil, spare parts, and old newspaper. The steps are given below:
- Flip The Recliner: The first step is to turn over the recliner and reveal the underside of the footrest. Under the footrest, brackets are noticed that are attached with the footrest with the help of screws.
- Tighten Screws: Check the screws and screw holes and either tighten the screws or replace the screws. Use an appropriate screwdriver for tightening the screws. If the screws are damaged then replace them and fix new screws. Then turn the recliner in an upright position.
- Footrest Stuck: If the footrest of the recliner is not able to move then the customer needs to turn the recliner upside down and loosen the screws and apply lubricating oil on all joints and bring the recliner back in its original position.
- Replace Spring: If the footrest still not works then the customer needs to replace the springs.
