How To Upholster The Back Of A Wooden Dining Chair

  1. Removing The Old Chair Covers: Firstly the customers need to remove the back cushion cover of the dining chair by Unscrewing the back of the dining chair from the frame. Customers need to remove all the screws from the backside of the chair and after that, they need to detach the staples so that the back fabric of the chair will get loosen.
  2. Replacing The Dust Cover And Padding: Once the users remove all the screws and staples then after that they need to cut the new fabric as per the size dimensions of the old fabric and the customers then need to attach the dust cover to the backside of the chair by using the staple gun. They then have to place the back piece of the chair on the foam layer and then they have to cut the foam by using the electric knife according to the size dimension of the back piece of the chair. The Customers also need to cut the batting as per the measurements of the foam. The Customers then have to attach the batting to the backside of the chair and also bend the batting to the edges of the backside of the chair.
  3. Cutting And fixing The New Upholstery: The customers then have to place the backside cushion of the chair on the new fabric and then they have to trim the new fabric 3 to 4 inches long from the corner of the back cushion. The Customers then need to attach the fabric to the central area of the cushion and staple it then the customers have to follow the same procedure while attaching the fabric to the other sides of the cushion. The Customers then need to trim up all the excess fabric by using a scissor and then, at last, they need to re-attach the backside cushion to the frame by using the saved screws and nuts accordingly.
