3.Remove Dark Bark: The dark bark is essential to remove and can be easily done using the hammer or some other tool like a wood chisel and follow up by the smoothing surface using sandpaper. Once the surface is event stain the stump using polyurethane sealant. Apply early about the two coats and allow it to dry completely.
