Steps To Steam Clean A Microfiber Couch
Steam cleaning is the best option for cleaning a microfiber couch. The process of steam cleaning removes the dust from corners and narrow spaces. The steps are given below to clean a microfiber couch with the help of steaming process:
- Clean: First step is to clean all the components of the couch and keep it ready for steaming. Then take off the seat cushions.
- Vacuum: Take a vacuum cleaner and remove all the large dust particles below the seat cushions.
- Apply stain remover: Apply stain remover on the stained areas and leave it on the couch for 30 seconds. Rub the stained area with scrub brush so that the stain remover properly works.
- Steam Cleaning Solution: Now take a bucket of hot tap water and put steam cleaning solution in hot water in proper ratio.
- Filter Basket: Take off the tank of the steam cleaner. Put the cleaning solution in the filter basket. Then replace the tank back.
- Upholstery Mode: Set the upholstery mode in steam cleaner. Attach brush to the steam cleaner and start the machine.
- Press Steam Button: Press steam button and start moving the hose on the couch until all the water gets out off the couch.
- Dry: Cushions and frames should be completely dried and then placed back on the couch.
