2 Easy Parts & Items Needed To Stagger Wood Flooring
The users can easily stagger the wood flooring by going through the below-mentioned parts with steps but first, you need to collect certain items that are required to perform this process:

- Finishing Nails
- Hardwood Glue
- Nail Gun
Part I- Different Sizes
- Lay: Start by laying out the wooden planks as per their size as some of the wood planks usually come with different lengths in the package so as to help the staggering the seams. The users then need to separate the planks as per their length so that they can easily garb varying lengths at different times.
- Install: Then they need to install the wood planks in the first row by leaving the space of near about 1/2 inch in between the wall of the room and the rows. Then nail down the wood planks in the subfloor or the users can also glue down the planks. The users can also choose their wood planks in a specific pattern such as start from the right to the left over the stacks of the wood that they have made. Then they need to trim the last wood piece and make it fit by using the table saw. They need to save the wood plank residue.
- Repeat: Then they need to start from the 2nd row of the wood planks by using the wood from the different wood stack because of the reason that the length of the wood piece is completely different from the first row as the seams will automatically stagger. The users need to repeat the same procedure as they followed while installing the planks in the first row like grabbing the wood stacks from the right to the left but the users need to start using the second wood stack instead of using the first wood stack and then cut the last wood plank so as to make it fitted with the floor.
- Alter: The users need to continuously alter the wood stacks when they are selecting the first wood piece for each one of the rows. In order to add a staggering effect, the users need to start from some rows and affix the remnant wooden pieces that they cut from the plank ends.
Part II-Same Length
- First Row: Start laying the wood planks in the first row and that too at a space of 1/2 inch from the room wall. Then nail down the planks or the users can also use the glue down and then cut the final piece so as to make it fitted with the row end.
- Second Row: Then the users need to start laying the planks in the second row and cut the last wood plank piece so as to make it get fitted with the row accordingly.
- Third Row: Then they need to place the planks in the third row and cut down the last piece so as to keep all the rows staggered.
