Once the sanding is done then wipe down the table with the help of the lint-free cloth, that should be lightly dampened with the clean warm water.
- Base Coat: Apply a thin and even coat of primer or base coat that should have the primer built in. Let the base coat to dry completely that totally depends on the climate and the type of paint used for the base coat.
- Top Coat: Next step is to apply another coat that can be either sprayed or applied with the roller or brush, use the top coat of different color, the bottom coat should be visible through the top coat. For the more dramatic effect let the second coat dry completely than sand it off smoothly.
- Sanding: Sand the area of edges, corners, legs as well as the top corners where people are likely to set things, sand in one direction and occasionally wipe away the sanding dust.
