Steps To Sew A Pillow With A Zipper
The customer needs to follow certain steps in order to sew a pillow cover and the steps are mentioned below:
- Cut: Cut and mark the fabric according to the need, use the solid color fabric.
- Sew: Then sew across the edges where the zip is needed, in case of the pattern fabric make sure that zip is rightly placed.
- Seam: Now place the zip in the seam, make sure that the zip is rightly placed, Sew the Zipper Ends, then sew the rest of the zipper.
- Expose The Zipper: In order to Expose the Zipper RIP open the seam, Start at one end of zipper where all three edges are sewn, then insert the seam ripper and carefully remove all the stitches between the two vertical rows at each end of the zip.
- Finish The Zipper: For the easy sewing unzip it.
- Pillow Cover: Finally sew the pillow cover, for easy turning unzip the zipper at least the halfway, simply keep the cover right side position and pin all the edges, Once the sewing is finished then turn right side Out and Stuff it.
