How To Secure Tablecloth To Table: Two Easy Methods

Two Easy Methods To Secure Tablecloth To Table

If you want to secure or attach tablecloths to your table but you are facing any issue in doing so, then we are here to help you. To secure tablecloth to a table is not a difficult task to perform, you simply need to follow the right technique. In order to attach tablecloth to a table, go through the two easy methods mentioned below:

Method 1: Specialty Clip Control

  • Smooth: You just need to smooth your tablecloth neatly over your clean table, centering your table beneath your cloth.
  • Place: Next you need to place a few heavyweights, temporarily, on top of your cloth along with the edges or perimeter of your table. Bricks or nearby rocks will do this work easily or enlist the help of considerable friends to hold your cloth in actual place rather of using weights.
  • Add Clips: Now you need to place your one tablecloth clip near each corner of your table so your clip snugs the tablecloth against your table. On your round table, you need to use four clips at first, equitably spaced around your table. Now you need to add more clips around any of your shape tables if the air still travels beneath your tablecloth and will cause it to billow.

Method 2: Homemade Tablecloth Clamps

  • Sand: Mildly sand your binder clips or C clamps by using fine-grit sandpaper, just sand enough to scuff up the surface. Sanding will make your metal more amenable to paint. Wipe the dust (which comes after sanding process) away with your rag.
  • Cover: Now you need to cover your work area outdoors or in a well-ventilated space with the help of a newspaper or the scrap cardboard. Set your binder clips or C clamps atop your paper or the cardboard, spacing them about 1/2 inch apart.
  • Shake: Shake your spray paint can for 1 minute or as recommended on your paint label. Hold your can 8 to 10 inches away from your clips or C clamps, and then you need to spray them all, overlying the bursts of your paint with each pass. Begin each spray burst before your first object & end it beyond the end of your final one to avert paint splotches. Allow the applied paint to dry wholly.
  • Flip: Flip your painted clips or C clamps over, and then you need to shake your spray can for a minute. Spray any remaining areas of your every clip or C clamp until every piece is entirely concealed with the desired paint color. Allow these items to dry completely.
