Steps to Seal Chalk Paint Kitchen Cabinets

Here are some of the steps by which the customers can easily seal their kitchen cabinets with the Chalk Paint:
  1. Remove The Hardware: The customers need to start by removing all the hardware like hinges and knobs from the cabinet doors. The customers then need to clean the doors and remove all the dust and debris particles by simply using the soap and water.
  2. Use The Chalk Paint: Once the cabinets are completely dried the customers then need to apply a thin layer of chalk paint all over the surface of the cupboards by using the paintbrush. They then need to allow the cupboards to dry completely in the open air for some hours.
  3. Apply The Paint On Doors: Once the cupboards are completely dried the customers then have to apply the layer of the chalk paint all over the surface of the cabinet doors. The customers then need to use the lint-free soft cloth and clean all the excess paint from the surface of the doors. They then need to let the paint dry completely before applying two more layers of the chalk paint on it.
  4. Use The Cotton Ball: The customers then need to rub the painted surface of the doors with a cotton cloth in order to give a finished look to the doors.
  5. Re-install The Doors: The customers then need to re-install the doors by using the saved hinges and knobs accordingly.
