Steps To Sand Wood With Sandpaper
Sandpaper is a useful tool to make the wood surface smooth. So it will be very beneficial to sand the wood using sandpaper and to do that, the users need to follow certain steps which are mentioned below:
- Selecting the Sandpaper: There are 2-3 types of sandpaper. Large grit(180-220), Medium grit(100-150) & Small grit sandpaper(40-80). So select the sandpaper carefully according to the woodwork. Choosing the wrong type of sandpaper can harm the wood.
- Sanding By Hands: Sandpaper can be used by hands easily. Simply hold the sandpaper in hands tip and rub it on wood until the layer gets flat.
- Sanding By Tools: Some electric tools are also available in the market to sand the wood easily like orbit sander tool. By using sanding tools work gets easier. Electric tools can save time and do work faster as compared to hand work.
- vacuum: After sanding, remember to clean the wood dust with vacuum cleaner or with cloth. Cleaning the wood will make painting easy and making excellent wood stuff.
