Steps To Reupholster Ottoman Corners
Here are some of the steps by which the customers can easily reupholster ottoman corners:
- Place The Fabric: The customers need to start by placing the ottoman seat fabric cover towards its right side facing downwards on a smooth and clean surface. The customers then need to place an ottoman seat cover to the middle area of the new fabric. They then need to allow the three inches extra fabric on all the 4 sides that will allow the customers to easily stretch the fabric while affixing it.
- Affix The Fabric: The customers then need to securely affix the fabric in the exact place by using the staples. They then need to drag the fabric when they stapled the fabric on the sides in order to make sure that the fabric is tightly attached to the seat.
- Start Working From The Right Edge: The customers then need to start working at the right edge of the ottoman seat cover. They then need to run their right hand all along the top side of the fabric and then they need to run their left hand in order to move the fabric altogether to the corner side. The customers then need to hold both the fabric pieces and then affix the fabric by using the staples.
- Bend The Fabric Towards Its Edges: The customers then need to bend the right portion of the fabric against its edges and then they need to drag the top piece of the fabric over it. The customers need to do this in a pattern that the 90-degree angle should be formed. They need to make sure that the fabric should be lying smoothly flat without having any wrinkles and then the customers need to gently drag the fabric so that the fabric should be in contact with the corner.
- Staple One Corner: The customers then need to staple one corner of the fabric and staple the base side of the fabric in a way that it should make a 90-degree angle respectively.
- Repeat The Same Procedure: The customers then need to start affixing the fabric to other corners of the ottoman by following the same procedure. Once the customers stapled the fabric on all the four sides of the ottoman then they need to fire again the staples to each corner by the sides of the existent staples.
