The armchairs consist of the comfortable backrest and wide armrests in order to provide immense support and comfort to the user. The users can easily reupholster an Armchair with Wooden Arms by following the below-mentioned steps:
  1. Gather All The Tools And Materials: Start by collecting the tools and materials that the users require while performing this procedure like tape, Sharp-edged scissors, fabric, knife, staple gun, pins, foam, adhesive, and cotton batting.
  2. Note Down The Measurements: Use the measuring tape and start measuring from the base of the armchair and the users are advised to add an extra 8 inch to the total dimension of the fabric used for the re-upholstering purpose. After taking all the measurements the users then need to trim down the fabric as per the measurements by using the sharp-edged scissor.
  3. Detach The Old Upholstery: Then detach the aged upholstery of the armchair by using the utility knife. Once the old upholstery is detached the users then need to place the piece of the foam over the base of the chair and use the marker to mark the dimensions on the foam. Take the measured foam and cut it as per the requirement and then place it over the adhesive and then leave it there for almost 2 to 3 minutes.
  4. Trim The Cotton Batting: Place the sheet of the cotton batting over the base area of the chair and then trim it as per the marked lines with the help of the scissors. Then place the fabric and the batting together on a flat surface and hold them tight together and then place both of the items over the foam batting of the chair respectively. Then affix them tightly by using the pins.
  5. Affix The Fabric Of The Chair: Turn the chair upwards and affix the extra fabric downwards by using the staple gun. Remove the pins and tighten the chair fabric and then staple the pins in the exact direction accordingly.
