  1. Disassemble: The first step is to disassemble the couch by removing the staples with the help of a screwdriver and remove the fabric.
  2. Check The Frame: Next step is to make all the efforts and check the frame of the couch. If the frame is having any type of scratch or damage, then clean, sand, and apply paint on the damaged wood. Then leave it to dry so that the couch can be reassembled.
  3. Drop Cloth: Put the new fabric upholstery in the drop cloth and pin it with the old upholstery so that new upholstery can be cut according to the size dimensions of the old upholstery fabric.
