The material required to reupholster the couch includes brad nails, fabric, and the nail gun. The steps to reupholster a couch without removing the old fabric are mentioned below:
- Cover Back Of Couch: The first step is to cover the back of the couch with fabric. Fold the fabric and stretch it completely to cover the whole area of the couch. As the structure of couch is made from wood brad nails are used to attach the fabric with the couch.
- Cover Sides: Next step is to cover the sides of the couch with fabric. Turn over the couch and staple the fabric with the couch using a staple gun.
- Cover Seats And Footrests: Now the last step is to cover the seats and footrests with the fabric. Cut the fabric to correct length and enclose the fabric under the seat.
