Method 1: Solid Cabinet Drawer Fronts

  • First of all, you need to cut off all of your wood which extends out from your drawer box with the help of a handsaw so that all the sides are flush now with the drawer box. Solid cabinet drawers front usually come in 3 sizes & will fit over the most existing drawer boxes.
  • Next you need to drill pilot holes on the inside of your new drawer front.
  • Finally fit your new drawer front over the existing drawer box and then you need to attach it by drilling screws into the pilot holes you've done before.

Method 2: Applied Cabinet Drawer Fronts

  • First of all, you need to unscrew your old drawer front panel & then remove it. Apply the drawer fronts which are screwed to your drawer box & then, therefore, can be removed wholly without any cutting or fitting.
  • Next you have to drill the pilot holes into the inside of your new drawer front.
  • Finally you need to screw your new drawer front onto your drawer box by drilling some screws into the pilot holes.

Method 3: False Cabinet Drawer Fronts

  • Firstly you need to cut all the two blocks of your wood with the help of a handsaw. Make your blocks approximately 2" inches (5.8 cm) taller than the opening of where the false drawer front will go.
  • Now you have to screw these blocks into the inside of your cabinet opening, 1" inch(2.54cm) above & above from the opening.
  • This is your final step to follow, you need to attach your false drawer fronts to the blocks of your wood from the inside of your cabinet with the screws.
