Even most of the stores are having the color variety of the caulk so that the users can easily purchase the matching caulk. Then place the tip within the crack or hole and then press down the gun trigger till the crack or hole is filled up completely and the caulk material will ooze out from the cracked or hole area.
  • Trim The Excess Caulk: Once the caulk is dried completely the users need to trim the unneeded caulk by using the razor blade or by using the utility knife as well so that the caulk material will form the even surface.
  • Apply The Paint: If the users have used the simple vinyl caulk then they need to paint it down so that it will match with the vinyl siding. In order to paint down the vinyl caulk the user needs to clean up the area then use the small soft-bristled brush and then apply the paint over it.

Once the users unfastened the sliding they need to tilt it upwards by using their elbow and then detach the nails accordingly. The users are advised not to repair the vinyl siding in the cool weather conditions as during that time the vinyl becomes very brittle and can be cracked easily.
