Lacquer

The steps to repair lacquer on furniture are mentioned below:
1.Masking: Prior to repairing undamaged parts of the furniture requires to be properly covered by heavy paper, or masking tape.
2.Lacquer Thinner: The lacquer thinner must be applied to the repairing portion in a single direction. Let it sit on the furniture till the old lacquer will be softened and removed. If some stains or marks persist the thinner should be applied again until the marks will disappear.
3.Dry: Let the Lacquer dry for 24 hours and follow up by rubbing it by 0000 number steel wool.
4.Paste Wax: Apply the paste wax and rub it to get the desired sheen. Alternatively, for a more lustrous look application of the spray lacquer in light coats will do work let it dry completely and reapply the paste wax once again.
