Step 1: Wetting The Wood

  1. Water: The first step to remove the dent is to Pour an oucne of warm water on the affected area.
  2. Paper Towel: Use old t-shirt and dusting rag to rub the affected area up to 4-5 minutes to wring out the excess of warm water.
  3. Soak: Now let the water soak on the wood veneer for 3-4 minutes. It will make the dent soft and pliable.
  4. Run The Iron: Heat the clothes iron to the maximum. Keep a cloth on wood veneer then run the iron over the affected area in circular motion.
  5. Rewet The Wood: Rewet the affected area with a damp cloth if needed. The wood veneer will soak the water and will make the dent clear.


Step 2: Finishing

  1. Wood Dry: Now let the wood dry for up to 2-3 hours in fan air.
  2. Sandpaper: Rub the affected area with a small grit sandpaper to make the surface smooth.
  3. Filler: Apply the wood filler on the dents.
  4. Protective Finish: Give a final finish to the dent with wood veneer finisher.
